We all love it, but now what? Chef Tommy Elg will both educate and charm you with his story and passion fort tuna and poke. In this interactive culinary class, he will explain the different types of tuna species and where they come from and when to use them. Other teaching points will include:
- What to look for when buying fresh tuna
- Properly cutting poke and sashimi and how to serve them
- Sauce and poke preparation
The class will be interactive with guests in the process of making the perfect poke bowl, which everyone will be able to take home with them. You'll also enjoy his laid back SoCal vibe and learn a lot about this healthy and delicious delicacy from the beautiful ocean right outside here at Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach.
